I’m sending this email from a dreamy yurt in a forest in Washington.
I mean, look at it… 👇🏼
If you live in the PNW (or will be visiting this region), this spot should absolutely be on your list!
(I’ll share the location in next week’s newsletter)
Speaking of cool things to add to your PNW bucket list…
The last few weeks, we’ve been doing a lot of local adventures and here are 2 things I have loved:
We had the BEST time snowmobiling near Paulina Lake with Octane Adventures! If you'll be in Bend this winter, I'd definitely recommend this experience.
We did the 4-hour tour which includes a stop for lunch at Paulina Lake Lodge, which is only accessible in winter by snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe (so that's an experience in itself!).
If you'd like to go snowmobiling with Octane Adventures, book your tour here and use the code TWS for 10% off!
2) Riverside sauna session with Gather
Located in Riverbend Park, Gather has the option for both public & private sessions.
You rotate between seating it out in the sauna then dipping in the river as a cold plunge! The river temp was just above freezing on the day we went (38ºF).
Do you ever cold plunge? It’s always so hard to motivate myself to do it but always feels so good afterwards!

Do you live in Oregon?
I’ve been doing a series on Instagram on the first of each month with the best things to do in Bend for that month.
If you live nearby, you’ll definitely want to follow along so you don’t miss these! Here’s our latest one for things to do in Bend during March so you can get an idea of what I mean.

I’m suuuuper excited because…
There’s a lot of heavy things going on in the world and it is honestly really affecting my nervous system lately, but I’m trying my best to find joy.
In little things (and big things too).
One kind of crazy big thing is that a couple of my best friends and I just bought tickets to the Backstreet Boys show at the Sphere in Vegas this summer! 💃🏻🪩🎶
It’s many months away but I’m already so excited for all the nostalgia and quality girl time! (2 things I really need right now!)
If you have any suggestions for restaurants or fun things to do on a short girls trip to Vegas let me know!
What I’m reading…
I go in phases where I don’t read anything for a while, then I’m suddenly reading multiple books and my reading wishlist is continuing to grow.
I’m currently in the latter phase and thought I’d share what I’m enjoying in case anyone else is looking for recs.
Right now, I’m simultaneously reading 2 books & loving them both: one on my Kindle and one as an audiobook (both free thanks to the Libby app!).
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
This one has been on my list forever and I was waiting on the book to be available for months. I’m about halfway through and really enjoying it.
If you like historical fiction and strong female characters, this is a good one. Also, I heard this is going to be a movie released next year!
The Road to Tender Hearts by Annie Hartnett
A friend recommended this one to me and I’m loving it (currently halfway through)! It’s such a fun read, and it’s written different than anything I’ve ever read. I like the characters and the storyline a lot and I’ve been recommending this one to a lot of my friends recently.
Here's the quick summary from Google Books: "A darkly comic and warm-hearted novel about an old man on a cross-country mission to reunite with his high school crush—bringing together his adult daughter, two orphaned kids, and a cat who can predict death..."
If you have any books you loved, I am always up for a recommendation!
Okay, gotta go because I have big plans today... I'm going to sip my coffee and read next to the fire for the rest of the morning!
Wander on,
P.S. In case you missed it, our Ring Road itinerary is finally here!! and it's so, SO good!
What if the hard part was already done?
All you have to do is pack your bags!
