Trailmade hiking pants: I'm buying myself 2 pairs of these hiking pants while they're on major sale. I ordered the green and orange colors (& will see if I want to keep just one or both!).
Sahara Shade Hoodies:Ben, Juniper, and I all have this lightweight hiking shirt, which is great for spring and summer adventures (& preventing sunburn). They have versions for the whole family as well as plus sizes!
I bought these exact snow boots last year and they blew my old ones out of the water... err, snow. They keep my toes warm, they're waterproof, and are super comfy. Oh, and the grip is GREAT.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: The pair of boots I used to have is a really good brand and I thought I liked them until I got this new pair. I actually just sold my old ones on Marketplace because I know the these are the only boots I'll be wearing this winter.
Satellite communication device for off-grid adventuring – an essential if you often hike out of cell signal (and/or are adventuring with kids).
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: We bought this SOS device shortly after Juniper was born because we wanted to always be prepared in case of an emergency. It’s currently on sale, so if you’ve been looking for something similar, now’s the time to jump on it.
We just got this in the mail and are excited to try it out next summer!
Since we're expecting a little one in January (eeek!), we knew we'd need to upgrade our backpacking tent to accommodate 4 humans next summer. (Our current tent is wonderful but is made for 3.)
I asked on Instagram for tent recs and the overwhelming response was this tent. (I couldn't believe how many people recommended it!) It's super lightweight & easy to put together, so I can see why it has a cult following.
This exact model has actually been discontinued (I assume they're making an updated version), so it is on major sale right now and will likely sell out very soon.
This lantern folds up flat and basically takes up no space. Hang it on the outside of your backpack or put it on the dash of your car so it can charge in the sunlight. Simply inflate it to light up your campsite or your tent!
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: We've had this solar lantern since 2017 and it's one of our most-used pieces of camping gear. It's really affordable and makes a great gift or stocking stuffer!
