We've got a mix of good stuff in today's email — but if you're flying anywhere this year, make sure you read to the top first. (Trust me!)
How to save hundreds on flights (lock in your spot before March 14th!)
My favorite hiking pants are on SALE!
Dreamiest PNW stay to add to your list (+ a discount!)
A fun milestone we celebrated
⚠️ Are you going to be flying this year?
If so, you’re gonna want to listen up…
I've been recommending Thrifty Traveler for a while now, and if you've been on the fence, this is honestly the best time to join.
They will be raising their prices on March 14th, but before they do that, they are having a SALE.
Use code TWS20 to get $20 off your first year. Better yet, you can lock in this sale price for life.
What is Thrifty Traveler?
If you’ve ever wondered how people score super cheap flights (even deals on business class!)… this is IT!
It’s a newsletter that sends you real-time flight deals before they disappear.
Think: $280 flights to Paris, $89 trips to Cancún, and $420 round trips to Tokyo 🤯
Here are just a few deals we've seen recently 👇🏼
It has genuinely saved us (and a lot of people I know) hundreds of dollars on trips we would have taken anyway. Plus, it has encouraged us to go on a few sneaky trips we wouldn’t have taken had we not seen how cheap the airfare was!
If you travel even once or twice a year, Thrifty Traveler is worth it. Especially at this price.
I have these hiking pants in 2 colors and I LOVE them.
They’re super comfy, flattering, and I find myself wearing them for more than just hiking because they can transition from trail to town pretty seamlessly.
The Jasper Green color is currently 50% off ($35, which is a steal for good hiking pants!). I imagine they might be phasing out this color, which is a shame because it’s so pretty!
Last weekend we went on a little getaway to the Columbia River Gorge and stayed in the dreamiest yurt, nestled in the middle of the forest beside a small creek. Our 4-year-old said it is a place where fairies live, and I don’t disagree with her.
If you live in the PNW or are planning a trip to this region, I’d definitely recommend putting this spot on your list!
Not only is it the perfect spot to base yourself for a weekend of chasing waterfalls and checking out cute restaurants and breweries, but the yurt itself is so thoughtfully designed and is the perfect place to recharge.
We have an exclusive 10% discount code just for you!
Use this discount to book up until April 15, 2026 for stays any time of the year (excluding holiday dates).
Note: This trip was hosted, but we genuinely LOVED this place and are already dreaming of a return trip to check out their safari-style tent which looks so luxe!
50K on Instagram!?
One little shameless brag I want to share is that last week we hit 50,000 followers on Instagram. While that’s not a ton in the scheme of things, it feels significant to us (& has taken a lot of time and effort!).
I wrote a little more about what this means to us and why we’re focusing more on IG lately in this caption.
I also shared that I am terrible about actually *celebrating* when I reach my goals. Can you relate?
Usually, I just quietly move on to the next milestone. But I’m realizing that this causes a cycle of not truly being content and grateful in the present moment. So this is me trying to celebrate this milestone a bit louder than usual!
We truly appreciate all your support (whether here on email, on our website, on Youtube, social media, or purchasing our itineraries).
It means the world to us and isn’t lost on us that in a world that is so busy and saturated, you’ve chosen to allow us in your inbox 💕

In other news, it has felt like summer in Bend lately with temps in the 60ºs (16ºC+). It has been a weird year weather-wise in a lot of places!
Not gonna lie, I feel like we missed out on winter (a season I genuinely look forward to all year). But it’s hard to complain when I can walk outside in a t-shirt comfortably (or a tank top, like I did yesterday!).
I’m pretty concerned about what the lack of snow in the Cascade mountain range is going to mean for wildfires this summer, but for the moment, we’re trying to lean into the nice weather and spend as much time outside as we can.
Wander on,
P.S. Going to Iceland this summer?THIS itinerary will save you so much planning! (& make sure you don't miss amazing hidden gems!)
