We just got home last night from our 1st ever campervan trip with TWO kids and despite my nerves, it was wonderful.
Maybe not the best sleep of our lives, but still wonderful!
- 🚐 We camped at a vineyard (as part of the Harvest Hosts program)
- 🌷 Wandered a colorful tulip farm
- 🍺 Had beer at a brewery run by monks
- 🥾 Hiked behind a waterfall at Silver Falls (one of our all-time favorite state parks)
On kind of a sappy note, it was pretty surreal looking at both of their car seats while we were on the road. We built this van shortly after Juniper was born & we installed a bench seat that fit two for “someday”.
And I guess “someday” is now 🥹😭
It was just one night in the van, but we’re already so excited for more campervan adventures this summer!
And in just a few days we’ll be leaving on a very different type of trip…

Baby's 1st International trip
On Thursday we’ll have a very long travel day to get to the Dominican Republic, where we’ll be visiting a friend who lives there and exploring the country!
Our trip is kind of split into 2 parts:
Part 1) Punta Cana resort
We don’t consider ourselves “resort people”, but after a super long journey to get there (with 2 little ones!), I’m very much looking forward to a swim up bar and not having to thing about any type of logistics, thank you very much!
Part 2) Road trip!
The second half of our trip will be a road trip to a few other parts of the country and we’re so excited to share what we get up to!
