Over the weekend, we had a relaxing little staycation at a local resort, Juniper Preserve.
(Our daughter) Juniper thought it was so cool that the hotel was named after her ๐ and she kept telling all the staff that it was HER hotel.
Here are a few things we did while at Juniper Preserve:
๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ I got a facial, which was such a treat
๐ฅ We used the (heated) pool with mountain views and did a sauna sesh
๐ค Ate really good food
๐ฒ Biked on trails around the property & took a yoga class
๐ท And just hung out after the girls went to bed

It was so relaxing, and a little funny staying somewhere so close to home. (We actually ran home one of the days to pick up our bikes, which felt so strange!)
Have you ever done a staycation in your town?
We actually have 2 more really unique PNW stays coming up in the next few weeks which Iโm excited to share about!
Hint: one is a yurt & one is a treehouse!
In addition to our hosted staycation, we also went to a winter beer festival at one of my favorite lodges in the woods. It had just snowed, so it was extra magical!
โ
We got to sample lots of really unique limited edition beers from local brewers amongst snow-covered pines and bonfires.
Our first review is in and we have to share it with you because it truly made our day ๐ฅน๐๐ผ
