This past weekend, we went on a campervan trip and met my parents along the way!
Our destination was the southernmost part of the Oregon Coast (Samuel H. Boardman), which is an area we haven’t been to since 2017.
We did a little hiking, had campfires, and Juniper made us all laugh a lot!
She’ll be turning 3 in a couple of months, and she is at such a fun age! As I'm coming towards the end of second trimester of pregnancy, I'm starting to reflect on just how fleeting this time truly is (yes, just like everyone says!) and how there's not much time left as a family of three.
And I really wish I could pause time with her right now.
But since I haven't quite figured out the logistics of actually pausing time (let me know if you do 😉), I'm trying to really soak up this season with her. Lots of fall crafts, baking, forest walks, and slow mornings.

If you're looking for a good book recommendation, listen up...
Sine we dida lot of driving on our Norway trip, we reached out and asked for audiobook recommendations and we got SO many recs for the book Project Hail Mary that we downloaded it right away.
I’m not the biggest sci-fi person, but I loved it! There’s a lot of humor and the audio version is so well-done. Without giving any spoilers, there are some elements of this story that I genuinely don’t know how they did them in a written book…
Tip: For audiobooks we want to read right away, we buy them on Audible. For those that we don’t mind waiting for, we request them through our library using the free app, Libby. This one had a huge waitlist at our library, so it was one that we purchased.
Fun Fact: In case you need one more reason to read this book, it will be a movie starting Ryan Gosling (my favorite!) with a spring 2026 release date. Now I've just got to wait!
