👀 you've never seen witches like this ✨

What a roller coaster of a weekend that was.

We had some family health stuff (which I’m not going to get into here), as well as some really sweet moments.

So I’ll focus on those…

1) We had a really fun Halloween. After years of it being on our bucket list, Ben and I finally joined in our town’s annual witch paddle (where people dress and witches and SUP on the river!).

Our family costumes were chosen by Juniper (here’s a video so you can see how they turned out!). She was Santa Claus, Senya was an elf, and Ben and I were children. Again, ALL her idea haha!

She has been planning this all year (yes, seriously 😆 just watch the video, it explains it all!).

2) We went on a fall hike to see the golden larch trees near the Metolius River (a Central Oregon gem, if you’re ever in the area!).

Juniper decided she needed to wear her Santa outfit on the hike, which was pretty funny! I have a feeling that costume is going to see a lot of use over the next months!

3) We had a perfect fall day on Sunday – blue skies, temps that were warm enough to go without a jacket but just a little “crispy”, and colorful leaves all around town.

We got pumpkins coffees, walked along the river, played in leaf piles and giggled harder than I have in weeks.

Norway Lofoten Video

We just published the 2nd vlog in our Norway series and it is definitely worth a watch!

We spent one unforgettable week exploring Norway’s Lofoten and Senja Islands, and it might just be one of our favorite trips ever.

We had to alter our plans due to the weather a few times, which led to some pretty interesting situations. We share what's probably the funniest story to happen to us since having kids. You have to watch it!

New Zealand Itinerary

While winter is just around the corner here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s full-on spring in the southern half of the world.

Did you know November - March is the best time to visit New Zealand? If not, file that away for some time in the future! 😉

New Zealand is somewhere in the top 5 countries we’ve ever traveled, and we think almost anybody would fall in love.

Beaches, mountains, cute towns, friendly people, good food (& coffee). There is seriously so much to love, and if it’s not already on your list, do yourself a favor and give it a spot!

Plus, we’ve already done all the planning for you 😘 you’re welcome!

If you (or anyone you know) is going to New Zealand soon, this is the itinerary you need!

Psst! We have tons of free resources too! Simply type "Two Wandering Soles New Zealand" into your Google search bar and you'll find a page with all our guides.

This is the most popular itinerary we’ve created, and we think it’s the perfect route to follow if you want to see as much of the country as possible!

This past week has had its ups and downs, but we’re grateful for the bright spots along the way.

I hope you’re finding some of your own, too, and that your month is starting on a positive note.

Thank you, as always, for being here 💕 you are one of our bright spots!

Wander on,

What if the hard part was already done?

All you have to do is pack your bags!

Thank you so much for following along; we appreciate it more than you know!
